BEHAVIOR ANALYST

Hourly Pay Range: $23.00-$24.42

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with development and implementation of staff training, behavior plans and crisis intervention as assigned by the behavior specialist, Senior Residential Supervisor or Residential Director.

Assist with the development of behavior plans assigned by the behavior specialist.

Assists with the planning and implementation of community activities.

Completes all necessary documentation in a timely manner including but not limited to assessments, Staff Actions, Comprehensive Functional Assessment.

Completes responsible sections of CFA document (Cognitive and Affective Development) by completing a review of the ICAP assessment; reviewing all coaching notes, behavior tracking and SCIP-R interventions used throughout the past year

Completes observations at home, daytime placement and community as needed. Completes a documented review of the observation.

Safely transports individuals to and from activities.

Ensures supplies are available to meet individuals’ needs.

Participates in site staff meetings, in-service training and other pertinent agency and community program meetings.

Performs CPR and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP-R).

Complies with all agency policies and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor degree required.

18 years of age.

Valid Drivers License that meets agency policy.

Ability to travel to various locations.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to have a flexible schedule.

Ability to meet physical requirements of the position when performing the following: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing.

Lifting requirement of 35 lbs.

Ability to lift and transfer individuals manually and mechanically as required by prescribed program/plan.

Ability to move, reposition, and place individuals in pieces of equipment.

Physical agility and ability to react to emergency situations including maintaining Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention certification as per regulatory guidelines.

CPR certification required.

Physical agility and ability to react to emergency situations, including Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP-R) certification as per regulatory guidelines.
