Being a Behavior Support Specialist at Devereux PA Children's Services has its Advantages
You will work directly with our Brandywine students with frequent behaviors in a school setting that is located on our West Chester, PA campus.
Pay-rate: $22.50 - $25.65 (based upon experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position)
Every day as a Behavior Support Specialist you will:
Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting. Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Transfer skills to individuals’ natural support in the least restrictive environment. Assist the Educational Administrator by deploying direct care staff strategically throughout the facility.Support teachers in managing student behaviorsServe as an exemplar to direct care staff and ensures efficient communication between the school, residential program, and/or school district representatives.You will be offered:

QualificationsEDUCATION: Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible; required.. Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents with behavior challenges preferred.
