Being a Behavior Support Specialist at Devereux PA Children's Services has its Advantages
You will work directly with students from ages 5-21 with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities who have frequent behaviors in a school setting that is located in Downingtown, PA.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position)
Everyday as a Behavior Support Specialist you will:
Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting. Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Transfer skills to individuals’ natural support in the least restrictive environment. Support teachers in managing student behaviorYou will be offered:

QualificationsEDUCATION: Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible; required. Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents with behavior challenges preferred.
