Its goal is to prepare well-educated, qualified, and competent direct-service psychologists who have a special commitment to direct community involvement and to underserved populations—professionals who can integrate scientific knowledge with innovation in the delivery of psychological services to individuals, families, groups, and organizations. Professionals receiving a doctoral degree in psychology should be capable of extending psychological knowledge and exhibiting the high level of analytic skills and theoretical understanding needed to use existing and emerging psychological knowledge. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Behavior Technician (Outreach) for the GSAPP – Douglass Developmental Disabailities Center.
Among the key duties of the position are the following: Implements a variety of behavior analytic strategies to support successful outcomes for children with autism across the areas of skill acquisition and/or behavior reduction in home-based settings. Collects, interprets and, with oversight from the board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), analyzes behavioral data. Contributes to the development of behavior analytic instructional programming under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst. Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week 19.5 Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement FLSA Nonexempt Position Salary 17.00/hourly Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Terms of Appointment Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly
