We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Behavioral Coach for our Bronx Say Treatment program. In this role, you will be responsible for modeling and supporting elementary and middle school students, ages 5-16, with developing their coping and social skills, and emotional regulation. The Behavioral Coach will conduct classroom observations to proactively prevent student outbursts and help de-escalate crisis situations. They will collaborate with the treatment team and educational personnel to develop support plans for students. Behavioral Coaches are required to pass and maintain certification in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and must be physically able to initiate and/or assist in all components of the crisis intervention program. Behavioral Coaches are required to provide occasional coverage in other Astor programs.

Requirements High School Diploma with a minimum of 2 years experience working with children or adolescents orBachelor's Degree in the Human Service or Education Field with a minimum of 1 year experience working with children and adolescents.Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule.   Salary Description $41,860.00-$41,860.00/year
