**What You Get To Do:**
Change the lives of those in your care! The Behavioral Conduct Specialist, Community Corrections is responsible for the administration of the resident/inmate discipline and rewards programs. Recommends and renders discipline and rewards in accordance with general guidelines, methods, policies, regulations, and laws.
+ Reviews incident reports/rule violations submitted by staff to ensure complete information has been provided, and recommends sanctions for the infractions using progressive discipline guidelines.
+ Conducts fair and impartial discipline hearings in accordance with company policy and procedure, and due process rights of residents/inmates. Maintains the integrity of the discipline process at all times.
+ Completes discipline packets/reports, and logs all incident reports/rule violations, discipline activity, notes regarding resident/inmate behavior into facilities management software (FMS).
+ Participates in the development and implementation of a positive reinforcement system for compliance, programming milestones, and other achievements.
+ Provides staff training to maintain consistency in the discipline process and to encourage staff's role and responsibility in reinforcing resident/inmate compliance with rules, policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
+ Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in a social or behavioral science field is required.
+ One year of experience in a related field is required.
+ Additional related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
+ Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing and apply problem solving techniques to complex issues.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office or other similar software applications is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required.
+ Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
