Maxim Healthcare Services in Suisun City, CA is hiring for an Intensive Behavioral Support Provider to work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one-behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challengesProvides/assists with daily program activities in the areas of self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor and behavior and crisis interventionAssist client with personal care activities including bathing, oral hygiene, preparation and feeding of meals, dressing and undressing, ambulation and other activities as neededImplement and collect data of the behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalentPrevious experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferredAt least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviorsCollege coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral sciences or related field preferredCurrent in-person CPR/ First Aid certification for Adult & Children (or willing to get)Updated TB test within past 90 days (or willing to get)Must be at least 18 years of age.
