As our Behavioral Health Director with CHI Mercy Health of Roseburg, you’ll help our patients and their families feel comfortable and educated when they’re in the unit.You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help deliver effective treatments to our patients.

Responsibilities
As the Behavioral Health Director, you’re responsible for the overall operation of the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) department. These duties include:
Operations & Patient Care:
Manages day-to-day operations, assigns patient beds, and provides care to optimize resources and promotes community wellness.Analyzes data to develop appropriate services and manages strategic planning to ensure program effectiveness.Community Partnerships & Service Development:
Partners with the community to recruit specialists and develop innovative, integrated models of care.Maintains effective services and meets diverse community needs.Quality & Compliance:
Achieves clinical outcomes through high-quality care and a safe environment.Oversees performance improvement, incorporates patient satisfaction feedback, and manages fiscal resources effectively.Implements and monitors standards to ensure accreditation and compliance with regulations.Community Engagement & Advocacy:
Builds awareness and understanding of Mercy Behavioral Health services and community involvement.Qualifications
License/Certification:
Current RN license issued by the State of Oregon required.Experience:
5 years behavioral health operations experience with at least 1 year in an inpatient setting2 years supervisory experience.Education:
Master's Degree in Nursing required. Emphasis in Psychiatric Mental Health strongly preferred.
