Behavioral Health Fellowship Program

Hiring for the following locations:

CHELMSFORD, BEVERLY, QUINCY, WELLESLEY, KENMORE SQUARE MEDFORD

The Atrius Health Psychiatry Behavioral Health Fellowship is a one‐year, full‐time (40 hours/week) interdisciplinary program open to post‐doctoral psychology students working toward licensure as a psychologist, social workers who have completed a master’s degree and have obtained their LCSW, and counselors who have completed a MA in Mental Health Counseling and are working toward obtaining the LMHC license.

The program provides in‐depth training in time‐effective therapy within the context of an integrative outpatient medical practice. Fellow’s practice and receive supervision at Atrius Health, a multi‐specialty medical group practice that provides health care to almost 740,000 adult and pediatric patients at more than 20 offices in eastern Massachusetts. All Fellows provide Behavioral Health care to a caseload of general psychotherapy patients, and will also choose a subspecialty focus on Addictions, Pediatrics, Trauma, or Women’s Mental Health.

For the 2025-2026 Fellowship year, participants will be providing services via telehealth and in-person.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Social Work applicants must have completed their master’s degree and possess an LCSW license prior to 09/01/2025.

Psychology applicants must have completed all professional doctoral degree requirements from an accredited (accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or by the Canadian Psychological Association) institution of higher education and a minimum of a one-year pre‐doctoral internship meeting APPIC or APA standards.

Counseling applicants must have completed A MA in Mental Health Counseling and be eligible to work toward licensing as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

EXPERIENCE

Prior experience providing evidenced based therapy interventions and experience in an integrated healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

SKILLS

· Eagerness to learn and explore new skills.

· Interest in a program that values Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Willingness to explore these areas in supervision and group trainings.

· Desire to self-reflect and grow personally and professionally.

· Ability to work independently but also seek out supervision appropriately and support as needed.
