Westat’s 11-week summer internship experiences will be hybrid at one of our U.S. office locations. Our interns can expect to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
The program will begin on Monday, June 2, 2025, and end by August 15, 2025. During the summer internship program, you will be assigned a project deliverable and will present during the final week of the program. You will also attend educational programs and networking events.
A hybrid work arrangement with 1-2 days onsite at a Westat office is preferred. This is a U.S. based position; pay rate for this role is $30/hr.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual to support our long-term and post-acute care projects, specifically in the areas of quantitative analysis and programming for CMS contracts. The ideal candidate will work with advanced statistical methods and leverage tools such as SAS or Python to analyze data related to post-acute care policy, with a focus on payment and quality aspects. The intern will gain in-depth experience in this specialized field and contribute to impactful work shaping post-acute care policy and CMS-related initiatives.
