This position is full time Monday-Friday - 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM in New Port Richey.

1 year of office-related experience is required.

Behavioral Health Office Representative Responsibilities:

Greets, registers and checks in patientsObtains and updates patient informationSchedules patient appointments and assists with patient inquiries; may arrange for additional servicesCollects and posts payments, and assists with patient billing questionsEnsures completion of all encounter documentation prior to check outAccepts transfers from other facilities according to established guidelines.Schedules patients with appropriate provider, answers phones and responds within time frames defined by departmental guidelines.Obtains complete and accurate patient registration information according to department standards.Reviews and confirms all registration information is accurate at each appointment and makes any required updates.Consistently reviews cancellation, displaced patients, and appointment requests worklist throughout the day.Reviews daily schedules for availability and coordinates with onsite supervisor to ensure providers' schedules are at capacity.
