We also offer psychiatric inpatient care, and we deliver therapeutic services through our community outreach clinics. We are a leader in the Trauma-Informed Care Movement, and provide training, coaching and consulting to outside organizations. **Job Description** University Health Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Group Home Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Located in the heart of Kansas City, Parker House is an 11-bed, unlocked IRTS (Intensive Residential Treatment Services) group home that serves clients. Minimum Requirements 1. Master’s or doctorate degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or any other related human services field approved by the State of Missouri. 2. Must be a Qualified Mental Health Provider (i.e. Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, OT, etc.) 3. Two years’ experience; one of which was working with the behavioral health population. 4. Must be licensed or licensable in the State of Missouri. Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a willingness to work with multicultural staff and clientele. 5. Staff with a master’s degree in social work are required to have a minimum licensure of MO LMSW. (If LMSW hasn't been obtained, still apply as there may be a pathway forward.) 6. Staff must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment. 7. Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment. **Working at University Health is about making a difference.
