Your Role as a Registered Nurse Behavioral Health

As part of our team, you’ll contribute to improving lives by:

Assessing the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of behavioral health patients and their families.

Developing and implementing personalized plans of care based on patient needs.

Reassessing patient conditions and revising care plans as necessary.

Providing counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Collaborating with physicians, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Supporting behavioral health aides and LPNs in delivering high-quality care.

Offering compassionate support at the end of life and conducting bereavement assessments.

Teaching behavioral health principles and pain management techniques to staff in alternative care settings.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Current, unrestricted RN license in the state.

At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Willingness to travel within the coverage area (up to 50%).

A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred).

Previous experience in home health, hospice, or using Homecare HomeBase software (preferred).
