**Responsibilities**
Supervise the behavioral health program.
+ Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
+ Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations.
+ Apply progressive discipline when appropriate.
+ Participate in hiring and termination procedures.
+ Coordinate patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes.
+ Participate in direct delivery of care depending on patient census.
+ Complete patient evaluations and treatments as needed.
+ Direct, oversee, coordinate, and control the admission, customer service representatives, and case management departments in accordance with the established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; regulatory agencies; and third-party payers.
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Psychologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
+ Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
**Additional Preferences**
**Education:** Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work is expected for this role
**Licence:** LCPC, LCSW; Candidates need to be fully licensed for this role
**Certification** : CADC is expected for this role
