Schedule

Part-time | 36 hours every two weeks 8 & 12-hour rotating day shifts | 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. & 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Every third weekend | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | Holiday rotation St. Cloud Hospital | EmPATH |Behavioral Health Observation Unit


Pay and Benefits

Starting pay begins at $18.11 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience Pay range:  $17.28 - $25.89 per hour Earn extra pay for working evening, night, and weekend shifts. Part time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! $2,000 hiring bonus for eligible candidates! Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available. 


Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.  2 years of college with courses in psychology, sociology, and/or social work preferred. Six months experience in nursing assistant or similar role preferred.  Must be able to effectively handle escalating behavior and utilize physical safety holds with aggressive patients. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training initial and on-going training provided. Basic Life Support required and provided.

 

EmPATH is a dedicated healing environment separate from the emergency department, staffed with a multidisciplinary psychiatric team providing Emergency, Psychiatric, Assessment, Treatment, and Healing to those initially presenting to emergency rooms with mental health urgencies.  Interested applicants should prefer working in a dynamic, team oriented, fast paced environment providing delegated behavioral health interventions to patients with acute mental health urgencies in an Observation setting.  Applicants will also appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with our EmPATH team and various community partners involved in developing Community Treatment plans.
