As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will oversee daily client activities, monitor vital signs, respond to crises, and facilitate group education and structured activities. Your responsibilities also include medication oversight, documenting client behaviors, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and monitor clients’ daily activities, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
· Facilitate group education, recovery skills, or structured activities to support clients’ treatment plans.
· Monitor and document clients’ vital signs and behaviors, escalating concerns to the treatment team when necessary.
· Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, as needed.
· Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
· Conduct routine safety checks and adhere to precaution protocols.
· Provide transportation to clients for appointments or activities as required.
· Foster adaptive behavior by modeling positive social interactions and encouraging adherence to program rules.
· Participate as an active member of the treatment team, offering insights on client strengths, needs, and progress.
· Document client interactions, concerns, and activities in compliance with organizational standards.
· Maintain cleanliness and safety within the facility, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment.
· Experience in human services or a related field is preferred.
· For Residential Care Facility (RCF): Obtain Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and Insulin Certification within the first 90 days in the position.
Additional Qualifications:
· Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company-owned vehicle.
· Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
· Completion of First Aid and CPR certifications within three months of employment.
· Behavioral management training completed within the first 30 days of employment.
· Meet annual training requirements, including a minimum of 40 hours of related training.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and engage in repetitive movements such as typing or writing.
· Must be able to sit for extended periods, with occasional walking or standing.
