As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a critical role in providing direct care, oversight of daily activities, health monitoring, crisis intervention, and group facilitation. Your work will help create a supportive environment for clients/patients on their journey to recovery and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide direct care and support, ensuring client/patient safety and promoting a therapeutic environment.
· Facilitate group activities, including rehabilitative support, education, and recovery skills.
· Monitor and document client/patient behavior, including vital signs and progress within the program.
· Assist with the admission, orientation, and discharge process, ensuring adherence to program policies.
· Administer or oversee medication processes, including monitoring for compliance and maintaining accurate records.
· Respond to crisis situations, using appropriate de-escalation techniques and reporting to the treatment team.
· Transport clients/patients to appointments or activities as needed.
· Participate actively as a member of the treatment team, identifying client strengths and needs.
· Maintain a clean and safe environment, reporting maintenance concerns promptly.
· Adhere to organizational policies and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of responsible employment.
· Experience in human services or a related field is preferred.

Additional Qualifications:
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
· Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
· First Aid certification within three (3) months of employment and upon renewal.
· CPR certification within three (3) months of employment and upon renewal.
· Medication administration training and behavioral management training completed within required timeframes.

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and negligible force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
· Frequent use of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing.
· Ability to sit for prolonged periods, with occasional walking or standing.
