Summary:

An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. Direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. Assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs.

 

Shift Options:

1st 11:00pm - 7:00am - working at least 1 weekend day weekly

 

Pay: 

$15/hr before shift differentials 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete the intake process with new clients into program Maintains client documentation Observe an document client self-administration of medication as applicable Coordination of client activities Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment Assists with the dietary needs of clients Completes all required trainings Other duties as assigned

 

Required Qualifications
Licensure, Education, & Experience:

Preferred high school diploma or GED equivalent Prior experience in hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus. Active valid driver’s license CPR course required within 30 days of hire Completion of various safety trainings upon hire

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Good communication skills to interact with all patients and staff Ability to follow oral and written instructions Requires frequent extended transports Must be able to sit for long periods Excellent customer service skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Contact with patients under wide variety of circumstances Possible exposure to patient elements Handles emergency or crisis situations Subject to many interruptions and pressure to multiple calls and inquiries Occasionally subject to irregular hours Handles absentee replacement on short notice Personal protective equipment (masks) required when transporting patients
