Join Our Team as a Behavioral Health Technician

High Focus Centers in Pottstown is a leading provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. We are proud of our highly trained staff who develop individualized, comprehensive, and robust treatment plans tailored to meet each client’s goals. We are currently seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team of behavioral healthcare professionals.

Position: Behavioral Health Technician
Location: Pottstown
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
Compensation: $17-$18 per hour
Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor, listen, and observe clients to provide necessary support Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients, including crisis intervention Implement treatment plan objectives and communicate effectively with staff Participate in mandatory training sessions Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients, providing feedback to the clinical team Assist with client interventions and transport clients to and from programming Orient new clients to the program and milieu Perform clerical duties as needed and ensure kitchen supplies are stocked Engage with clients during leisure time and meals Ensure continuous staff presence and maintain positive client relationships Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health preferred Experience in Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health services, including facilitating process groups and family sessions
