Behavioral Health Therapist II
UPMC’s Center for Children and Families (CCF) is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist II to join the team! CCF is a general outpatient clinic that serves a diverse community. This clinic provides therapy for 3 psychiatric resident clinics. CCF has a team approach to treating patients which includes regular consultation with our psychiatrists. The team of therapists is a supportive group where you will receive regular weekly supervision and clinical supervision. CCF therapists receive trainings to work with our population in areas not limited to ADHD, OCD and family therapy. This position will also include time working with the HOPE team, Hope Team offers evaluation, consultation, therapy, peer support, healthcare coordination, and/or family support for people ages 10-26, in the Southwest PA region, who are experiencing unusual and extraordinary experiences. **_Sign-On Bonuses up to $10,000!_** · **Record Keeping:** Maintains daily clinical productivity records. · **Therapy:** Provides individual and group therapy in various settings, engaging families in the process. · **Team Meetings:** Participates in treatment team meetings to discuss and update patient treatment plans. · **Evidence-Based Approach:** Utilizes relevant, evidence-based treatment methods. · **Assessments:** Conducts assessments and makes clinical decisions regarding treatment and referrals. · **Treatment Planning:** Creates comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse needs. · **Regulatory Activities:** Participates in regulatory and licensure preparation. · **Administrative Competency:** Manages administrative tasks related to patient care with minimal supervision. · **Documentation:** Documents all patient-related activities according to guidelines. · **Skill Development:** Continuously learns and implements new treatment approaches. · **Case Reviews:** Reviews cases and discusses significant changes with supervisors. · **Timely Documentation:** Completes clinical documentation on the same day of service. · **Mentoring:** Mentors student interns. · **Quality Assurance:** Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. · **Needs Assessment:** Assesses and incorporates changing patient needs into treatment plans. · **Service Referrals:** Discusses and refers patients to additional services as needed. · Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required. · Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions required. · Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of current version of the DSM required. **ATTENTION: A COPY OF YOUR MASTER LEVEL TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR CONSIDERATION.** **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. · Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) · Clinical Social Worker (CSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) · Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC) · Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal · Act 33 with renewal · Act 34 with renewal · Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal **_UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran_**
