LCSW-C/LCPC - BH Therapist Position Summary

The Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit provides psychotherapy and medication management services to a diverse patient population. The Behavioral Health Clinician will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, using a variety of therapeutic modalities with the overall responsibility to support clients with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders through psychotherapy.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with primary care physicians to conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and evaluations for patients presenting with psychological concerns. Provide evidence-based individual interventions to address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and adjustment disorders. Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, primary care providers, and other members of the healthcare team. Conduct brief interventions and crisis management for patients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the delivery of mental health services within the primary care setting.

 

LCSW-C/LCPC - BH Therapist Position Requirements

Education

Master's Degree required in social work, counseling or related field.

Required License and/or Certification

LCSW-C or LCPC required.

 

Experience

 3-5 years of post-graduate behavioral health work experience preferred. Training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, family therapy, and supportive therapy preferred. 2 years of experience in pediatric behavioral health preferred.

At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits. Salary range: $64,812.80 - $100,464.00
