With capacity for 12 children, this program produces the highest quality treatment outcomes through a combination of expert programming, specially trained caregivers and the individual potential of each patient. Develop a working knowing of therapeutic interventions and interactions for common diagnosis of population served. Implement the behavioral plan developed specifically for the developmentally challenged patient in accordance with Doctor’s orders Assist patients with Daily Living Skills (ADLs) as directed by an RNResponsibilities
Perform checks and document on patient’s record in accordance with hospital policies Work with the treatment team in the collection of pertinent data to assist in the development of individualized behavioral plans Implement sensory schedules as indicated by behavioral plan Observe and respond to codes and follow code leader’s directionRequired Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) – “What you will need”:
Education: High School diploma preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology preferred. License/Certifications: N/A Experience: 1+ years of experience and/or coursework in a social services related field required.
