Type: Four-month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 an hour **Responsibilities of the Behavioral Therapy Technician:** · Provides clinical oversight, technical assistance, and skill development to program staff regarding all aspects of behavior support services. · Working collaboratively with staff and program supervisors, in the delivery of staff training, crisis intervention and general habilitative and behavioral services to individuals supported across assigned programs in residential and / or day services. · Under the supervision of a Community Supervisor is responsible for supporting DSPs and/or Community Specialists to implement habilitative programs/services, as well as providing care to individuals. · The Behavioral Support Technician as part of a team is responsible for the providing the required level of supervision to individuals and groups. · Communicate effectively orally and in writing with a variety of individuals representing diverse culture and backgrounds. · Interact with parents, guardians and other professionals as needed regarding individual plans and progress meeting information. · Establish effective working relationships with management, employees and the public. **Qualifications for the Behavioral Therapy Technician:** · High School diploma or GED required · Bachelors Degree preferred · Certified as or pursuing BCBA preferred · Three plus years of experience, working directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities, including devising, implementing, and monitoring behavior support plans · Experience providing training and coaching to residential and/or day program staff in the implementation of general strategies and individualized programs using principles of ABA and Special Ed techniques, i.e., smart board, alternative systems of communication, sensory diet, etc. **Why work for Adecco?** · Weekly Pay · 401(k) Plan · Skills Training · Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
