Job Summary:

You are expected to adhere to the company’s mission, vision and value statements. Be knowledgeable of the company’s management systems, policies and initiatives for Hospitality, Environmental, and Health and Safety.  You have specific responsibilities within these areas and are expected to understand them.  Supervises and assists the Bell Staff in providing service to guests upon their arrival & departure to include handling luggage, providing information, etc.   Acts as the liason between Jackson Lake Lodge and our Tour operators and directors.  Works with both parties to seamlessly coordinate Tour arrivals and departures.

Job Responsibilities:

Anticipates Guest needs, leads the bell team with an exceptional example of guest service. Responsible for the payroll budget of supervised personnel. Delegates duties to Bell Staff and prepares the weekly schedule Accompany guests to room with luggage. Knowledgeable and able to train employees on Vail Resorts Brand Standards for bellmen. Provides information to guests on all facilities and activities. Explains operation of equipment in guestrooms such as heater controls. Performs room checks for occupancy. Assist tours in unloading/loading luggage to and from guestrooms Acts as a direct contact for tour leaders Completes Room Moves for the guests Stores luggage for guests. Shows rooms to potential guests. Handles receiving and delivering of guest packages. Keeps supplies stocked in bell desk. Controls lights at main entrance of lodge and sidelights of lodge. Responsible for flag storage and care around property Pick up and deliver guest laundry. Provides room service for liquor and ice Responsible for ensuring that there is a constant presence from the bell stand out front of the hotel to assist guests.

 

Job Requirements:

Previous bell experience Valid driver’s license and good driving record Good communication skills Friendly, courteous disposition Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding areas
