JOB DESCRIPTION The Bell Person is responsible for assisting guests at check-in and check-out, supporting the front desk in the lobby and front drive, and providing top-notch concierge service. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Extensive health benefits, paid time off, retirement, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts at hundreds of US and international properties. SCHEDULE: Full Time: 30+ hours per week depending on level of business forecasted. Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on level of business forecasted. Shift varies depending on level of business forecasted. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Opening cars and building doors for guests. Ability to direct traffic in drive when Drive Concierge is not present. Assisting Front Desk Agents by answering phones and assisting guests in gift shop. Room deliveries of both luggage and guest requests. Handling and storing luggage for clients. Special errands outside of typical duties. Ensure trash is removed from Lobby/Drive areas. Ensure the checklist is completed by the end of shift. Maintaining the highest level of team member/guest relations. Levelheaded, patient, even tempered demeanor. Positive and outgoing personality. Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high stress environment. Works well on a team but can also work independently when needed. Qualifications Ability to transport, handle and/or lift a minimum of 75 lbs. (Note: Loading and unloading luggage out of vans, buses, etc., and delivery to and from guest rooms). Ability to push and pull up to 200lbs. General understanding and knowledge of local restaurants, attractions, and interest points including the Texas A&M University campus. Ability to effectively communicate in the English language.
