What will I be doing?
As a Bell Service Attendant for Waldorf Astoria Maldives will be responsible for the Overall Bell service, providing personalized service to all the guests of the Resort. This position is concerned with the responsibility of collecting and delivering guest luggage, messages, and any other items in a fast, efficient, and courteous manner.. Specifically, as a Bell Service Attendant for Waldorf Astoria Maldives you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nTo fully support the Company’s values and culture to ensure guest satisfaction. \nTo be fully familiar with the Waldorf Astoria Brand Standards and the Quality Assurance Audit and to follow these standards of service at all times.\nTo keep up-to-date with the SALT results and to seek to positively influence these results by following the Waldorf Astoria Brand Standards.\nTo maintain a high guest service focus by approaching your job with the guests always in mind and being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and requests.\nTo have a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both guests and colleagues.\nTo actively promote the services and facilities of the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi and the Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts to guests and suppliers of the Resort.\nTo maintain a high standard of appearance and personal hygiene at all times by adhering to the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi Grooming Standards.\nTo report to duty punctually and consistently.\nTo have a complete understanding of and adhere to the resort’s policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety and take necessary action when required.\nTo provide guests with friendly, efficient, accurate and polite service at all times.\nTo be flexible, responding quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you. \nCareful operating of resort buggy and maintenance of the same. Ensuring waiting time to be at a minimum.\nTo takes direction from and carry out any requests by management in conjunction with work.\nFollows True Waldorf Service Delivery Standards operating standards at any time, in Front Office.\nProvide our guests with a fast and efficient delivery and collection of luggage upon check-in and checkout and for all room moves.\nCareful operating of resort buggy and maintenance of the same. Ensuring waiting time to be at a minimum\nAny other tasks as required by our Guests, Supervisors or Management.\nTo co-ordinate any outstanding issues with related departments.\nTo assist PR/Sales department in conducting show around for Press/Fam Trips\nEnsure a high level of product knowledge of the Resort\nBe the training champion for the Bell Service team and report directly to the Duty Manager\nTo update existing documentation on a regular basis\nEffectively communicate with all other team members\nReport directly to the Duty Manager any complaints from a guest immediately\nSeeks to minimize costs through correct use and handling of hotel property and equipment\nTo assist the Transport Manager and give support for the running of the overall team\nTo be part of the Seaplane operations and learn for future promotional chances.\nPromotes Team Member motivation \nTo attend and actively participate in training sessions and monthly communication meetings\nTo ensure punctuality, excellent grooming and hygiene \nTo seek direction and support on a daily basis\nTo keep excellent relationships with team, peers, and all other colleagues of the hotel.\nTo report training needs to team leader/ manager\nTo attend daily operations briefing with direct reports/supervisors\nAny other tasks as requested by our guests, supervisor or Management of the resort\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role, experience in Guest relations, or guest experience role in a Luxury Resort.\nKnowledgeable of multicultural service protocols and standards.\nStrong ability to operate and successfully arbitrate in a complex international and multicultural environment.\nExcellent guest relations and problem-solving skills.\nGood planning and execution skills with the ability to be persistent while focusing on detailed elements of tasks.\nExcellent time management, organizational, communication, and motivational skills.\nHave impeccable follow-through.\n\nCompetences
