About the role: 

We are currently seeking a Beltman to join our Information Conveyance Team at our Twentymile Mine location. The Payrate for this position is between $34.87 and $39.30 per hour depending on experience.

Reporting to the Belt Foreman. The scope of your role will be to perform all necessary work associated with our belt systems.  This role offers a great opportunity for growth and to expand knowledge and skills.

 

Duties will include:

Cleaning the work area and clean up of spills Replacing rollers and splicing belts Maintain roof and rib control on belt entries Repair belts and equipment as required to maintain acceptable levels of availability of our conveyance systems Utilize various pieces of mining equipment such as Uniloaders, Mantrips, and other equipment associated with our conveyance systems.

Colorado Mine Foreman Preferred Electrical Certification Preferred Noise Certification Preferred Previous mining experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Physical requirements:

Must have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time on uneven, rocky surfaces for up to the entire length of the shift Must have the ability to be seated for up to 4 hours to operate equipment or vehicles Must have the ability to walk for up to 4 hours at a time.  Will be required to walk through different sections of the mine with varying degrees of clearance and headroom Must have the ability to wear required protective footwear, hearing and eye protection, and other personal protective equipment as required by Company and MSHA Must have the ability to climb up and down stairs/steps and climb on and off equipment and ladders. Must have the ability to lift/raise up to 80 lbs. without mechanical assistance frequently during the course of work shift.  Must have the ability to work in extreme conditions, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, dust, mud, water varying levels of noise from low to high decibels, varying degrees of light and dark, in and around artificial light and in a confined work area The job requires that you be able to work various shifts (required shifts include days, evenings and nights with rotating schedules, weekends and holidays

Individuals must meet the minimum vison requirements of at least 20/40 acuity (Snellen) with or without correction and at least 70° field of vision in horizontal meridian measured.

Must have the ability to walk for up to 4 hours at a time.  Must have the ability up to 80 pounds with out mechanical assistance during the course of shift work. Must have the ability to climb on and off equipment and ladders. Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather. NOTE:  This is a "Safety Sensitive Role".  Please contact HR for requirements.
