Roles and Responsibilities:

BROAD FUNCTION:

Set-up and proficiently operate various standards & CNC machine tools on a routine rotational basis; such as lathes, lasers, mills, grinders, electrical discharge machines and other such equipment.Make, modify or rework to close tolerance production parts as directed.Use standard and special gauges, various hand tools.Work to required levels of quality and efficiency from written or verbal instructions.Will maintain necessary records, instruct others as required and perform related duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with basic computer skills, applications and keyboarding as necessary.Must pass an initial OAP inspection test (includes basic math and measuring instruments) and annual recertificationWilling to perform preventative maintenance and assist in repairsProficient in the use of shop math as necessary, including fractions, and decimalsExperience operating various hand and power tools such as die grinders, hand baders, etc.Experience operating material handling and lifting devices, including ability to obtain forklift license as required.High school diploma, or GED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Significant experience in the use of basic machine tools including surface grinders, mills, engine lathes, drills, EDM, or waterjet (2 points)Previous experience and proficiency in operation of CNC machine tools. (3 points)Experience in changing machine tool offsets (2 points)

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
