SALARY RANGE

$25 – $30 p/hr.

Job Purpose:

The BenAdmin Technology Specialist supports the technology vision, training and strategy of our technology systems. This position works as an integral part of the Experience Team and is responsible for the onboarding of new clients, group renewal process and technology support to ensure a pleasant client experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Premier user for BenAdmin system.Responsible for client onboarding, group renewal process and updates to the BenAdmin System.Support Experience Team with technical issues and provide ongoing training as needed.Assist supervisor with ongoing trainings, documents, and presentations for internal staff.Perform cross company system audits, updates and take preventative measures to prevent financial risk to the company and its clients.Technology trainer for monthly client Passport meetings.Responsible to research and prepare monthly client alerts and newsletters.Stay abreast of Ben Admin technology, submit escalated service tickets and enhancement requests, as necessary. Assists in the set-up and monitoring of EDI files.Maintains positive relationships both internally and externallyMaintain HUB Values including HIPPA Compliance.Ensures we are meeting HUB turn-around times.

Qualifications:

Work experience:

1-2 years working for a carrier or brokerage firm.Experience with benefits and enrollment systems preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skillsAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office – intermediate to expert user level preferred. Excellent organizational skillsAbility to work well under pressure with attention to detailTeam oriented self-starter with ability to prioritize, monitor and control workflow deadlines and be flexibleDetail orientedSense of urgencyUnderstanding of benefits & benefit terminologyProficient typing abilityHigh degree of independence and problem-solving skills

Working conditions:

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
