Summary
The Benefits Analyst will focus on the administration, design, and continuous improvement of OneStream’s global health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, leave, accommodations, and time-away programs. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Global Benefits, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing employee experience while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and competitiveness across our benefits offerings.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Global Benefits Administration and Oversight Manage and administer global benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, time-away policies, and other employee offerings. Support the annual benefits enrollment process, ensuring accurate plan setup, testing, and employee communications. Oversee the day-to-day operations of benefits programs, including eligibility tracking, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination. Compliance and Regulatory Management Ensure all benefits programs comply with applicable local, regional, and global regulations. Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. Stay informed about changes in global benefits regulations and recommend necessary program updates. Auditing, Billing, and Reporting Complete benefit billing and reconciliation processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Conduct periodic audits of benefits records, vendor invoices, and enrollment data. Develop and maintain reports on benefits utilization, program effectiveness, and trends. Employee Experience and Communication Create and deliver engaging educational materials for new hire orientations, benefits enrollment periods, and program updates. Serve as a trusted resource for employees, answering questions, resolving issues, and guiding them through benefits processes. Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to continuously improve the employee experience, with a focus on accessibility, clarity, and usability of benefits offerings. Vendor and Partner Management Liaise with brokers, providers, and vendors to ensure service delivery meets organizational standards. Assist with contract negotiations and relationship management to secure competitive rates and exceptional service. Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as necessary to maintain program quality. Continuous Improvement and Innovation Conduct data-driven analyses of benefits programs to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Lead projects to implement new programs or enhance existing ones, ensuring alignment with company goals and employee needs. Recommend and implement process improvements, including automation and technology solutions, to streamline administration and improve efficiency. Team Collaboration and Partnership Partner closely with internal teams, including Accounting, Finance, Legal, People Operations, and Works Councils, to align benefits initiatives with organizational priorities. Actively contribute to team discussions, share insights, and support colleagues in achieving shared objectives. Participate in global benefits strategy planning to ensure OneStream offers a best-in-class benefits package. Problem Solving and Solution Orientation Anticipate potential issues and proactively develop solutions to address them. Tackle challenges with a positive, can-do attitude and a focus on creating impactful outcomes for employees and the organization. Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of benefits updates and enhancements. Leadership and Ad Hoc Responsibilities Take initiative in leading benefits projects, such as program rollouts, vendor transitions, and employee engagement campaigns. Be a champion for best practices and innovative solutions that elevate the Total Rewards function. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
Required Education and Experience
Four-year college degree in fields such as (but not limited to) Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. 4+ years of experience in global benefits administration with proficiency in UKG Pro (benefits and leaves of absence modules). Exceptional attention to detail with advanced analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, adapting to dynamic situations with minimal advance notice. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information. Proven ability to support the employee experience through clear communication and innovative solutions. Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and improvement. Proficient in benefit change management and creating engaging employee education materials.Preferred Education and Experience
4+ years' experience in benefits administration, design, or consulting.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of global benefits regulations, best practices, and trends. Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice. Recognizes confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintains confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Self-motivator with fervent desire to learn.
