Role accountabilities:

As a member of the Local People Service team, the Benefits Analyst will establish trusted relationships with employees & line managers and provide front line support on Benefits Administration, programs and process improvements. He will also collaborate with business partner community and broader people services teams to support the total employee experience within a geographic area. The role will work closely with the Senior Payroll and Benefits Manager and to support an inclusive high performing organization, in line with the strategic people and culture direction.

In more detail, the Benefits Analyst will:

• Responsible in the full administration of Benefits (both company and statutory), providing a seamless service delivery aligned with company guidelines and compliant to local country statutory regulations.
• Attend to, investigate, and implement necessary actions to address employee inquiries
and benefit concerns.
• Coordinate with service providers and government agencies in processing employee benefits, updating employee records, service renewal in the Group Life and HMO enrollment.
• Work with Payroll and Finance teams in preparation of reports and ensuring that benefit elements are captured correctly for salary payout.
• Manage Tier 3 issue escalations and resolutions
• Responsible in the management of annual benefit programs such as annual physical exam, flu vaccination drive, and medical allowance reimbursement.
• Carry out annual benefit programs such as annual physical exam, flu vaccination drive, medical allowance reimbursement
• Facilitate induction sessions for new joiners specifically for benefits related orientation.
• Maintain frequent communication and collaboration with People Advisors, Payroll, and Finance to ensure seamless administration of both company and statutory benefits.
• Provide support to P&R Manager in benefits policy and process reviews
• Provide support to People Advisor in the preparation of HR advisories relating to benefits changes, vendor updates, and benefit program rollout.
• Act as a key point of contact for any Benefits concerns.
 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s college degree in Human Resource, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Benefits administration.
• Prior experience in Benefits management is a plus.
• Highly knowledgeable in Philippine employment laws and practices.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Applications, particularly in Excel.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build solid working relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience of managing / supporting HR projects
• Capacity to understand how people issues impact the business and how People Services can create value for the organization.
• Demonstrates integrity in all business interactions and honors personal commitments.
• Strong organization skills are important, as well as strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask and see work through to full implementation.
• Demonstrates a pro-active approach.
• Ability to adapt in a changing environment.
• Good working knowledge of local Benefits Administration.
• Experience in people data systems and processes.
