Benefits Analyst - Associate Services

*POSITION SUMMARY*
Provides Customer Centric Service by improved access and driving outcomes that delight our customers. Leverages technology to support Benefit operations and administration. Assists in the implementation, administration, and communication of employee benefit plans. Counsel employees regarding benefit eligibility and coverage.
*PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES*
1. Performs data extraction, manipulation, and analysis for Benefit data.
2. Function as analytics and reporting analyst for the Benefits by developing standard reports and designing, running, and maintaining ad hoc queries.
3. Provide support to other team members when needing benefit data or content on benefit plans.
4. Analyzes benefit data for trends and provides metrics needed to Leadership to make decisions regarding benefit coverage.
5. Prepare various reports for all levels of the organization for Benefit needs.
6. Define and catalog reporting elements and ensure data quality and consistency in all deliverables.
7. Develop a full and detailed understanding of all HR data available across the IDN, which includes all systems involved in data maintenance.
8. Participate in system testing; responsibilities include test scripts development and execution, testing resources coordination and test completion metrics compilation.
9. Performs ongoing benefit audits.
10. Assists with HRIS projects, testing and system configurations.
11. Manages and aids with ACA, end of year processing and payroll system accountabilities.
12. Eager to learn and implement new systems, processes and configure analytic dashboards for organizational wide use.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
•Education: Associate’s Degree Required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Licensure: None Required
•Certification: None Required
Work Experience: Two years of experience with HRIS reporting with a blend of payroll, time/labor and HR knowledge.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excel (MS Access a plus); overall understanding of MS Office applications
Strong analytical/diagnostic skills with aptitude and passion for process improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to research and analyze various types of data.
Strong attention to detail

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking.

•Education: Bachelor’s degree

•Certification: None Required
•Work Experience: 3 years of human resources with HR System Experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of multiple HR systems to include Applicant Tracking System, Performance Management and Human Capital System.
