The Benefits and Leave Administrator is responsible for coordinating and administrating all employee benefits programs, leave programs, and the administration of worker’s compensation. Serves as an inclusive collaborator and liaison between multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure an efficient and compliant experience. Supports the application and communication of pertinent policies and procedures, and ensures benefits are handled correctly.

This is a full-time opportunity based at the Corporate office in Woodbury, MN.  Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (hours subject to change).  Potential for a partial hybrid schedule can be discussed at time of hire.  

Coordinates and administers employee benefits such as health, dental, and life insurance plans; disability; health savings accounts; flexible spending accounts; retirement savings plans; profit sharing programs; COBRA; and Open Enrollment. Serves as point of contact for employee benefit questions. Communicates with newly benefit-eligible employees and employees who have experienced a life event.  Inputs employee benefit information into the HRIS system and reconciles information for accuracy; ensures all employee files and records are compliant and up to date in the HRIS system. Ensures accuracy and compliance of leave of absence approvals and denials; securely and confidentially maintains leave documentation, and letter templates, and manages data requirements and reporting. Provides communication with individuals on LOA or injured while working, fostering a positive employee experience in all interactions. Guides managers on the leave process; escalates complex leave issues within the HR team, collaborating with legal and payroll teams as needed. Creates and runs reports out of the HRIS system.  Prepares ad hoc reports as requested. Prepares, reviews, and submits reports and documentation regarding workers’ compensation, and program administration; oversees all claims management in conjunction with third-party administrator. Ensures compliance with medical practice policies and procedures and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.
