Benefits Brazil Supervisor
Job Description

The Supervisor of Brazil Benefits Operations will report to the South America Compensation & Benefits Manager and lead a team responsible for operations supporting a variety of programs, including healthcare, pharmacy, dental and life insurance.

The position will:

Flawlessly implement changes to existing or new benefit programs

Ensure the best development and review of the benefits strategy in conjunction with the region's benefits strategy specialist.

Ensure governance, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities of benefit programs.

Have a process excellence mindset by identifying opportunities for greater standardization, process documentation and automation to improve the employee experience.

Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business leaders, union partners and cross-functional peers of HR, Legal, IT, Purchasing, and Finance.

Ensure Latin America cross country collaboration on benefits matters and also between compensation & benefits projects.

Manage third party vendor relationships and competitive bids with cross-functional support.

Create a positive environment with a focus to develop, motivate and mentor the team.

Oversee the development, implementation and communication of benefit programs and provide counsel and disposition regarding the administration of those policies and procedures.

Determine appropriate solutions and oversee the resolution of special or complex administration matters.

Responsible for administering annual benefit enrollment programs.

Coordinate and respond to audits of processes and outcomes.

Review and implement plan amendments/restatements.

Develop standard operating procedures to standardize and streamline processes by utilizing best practices for all administration duties. Interact with service providers to proactively identify problems and issues and work to resolve and preserve data integrity

Organize all administration special projects that may arise from regulatory, business or negotiated changes.

Hybrid - 02 days of home office

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance or related field or related experience. 

Advanced or fluent English. Spanish would be a plus.

Solid experience in healthcare & overall benefits in Brazil

Ability to understand the regulatory and compliance environment in the Brazil and impact to benefit programs

Great leadership capability and interpersonal skills.

Ability to interact comfortably with unions, employees and leaders at all levels and proven ability to work in a team environment

Ability to think creatively and strategically

Capability to simultaneously run multiple tasks and projects

Ability to prioritize and be responsive to rapidly changing priorities

Project management, change management and continuous improvement experience preferred

Highly proficient analytical, organizational and project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Expertise to present data, findings, and potential actions/solutions to stakeholders
