Atlas Energy is seeking a Benefits Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for all employee benefits inquiries. This role will manage the company’s benefits programs, collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance brokers, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of benefits administration. Key Responsibilities: + Benefits Program Design & Administration – Develop, implement, and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other offerings (e.g., life insurance, disability coverage, and employee assistance programs). + Compliance & Legal Adherence – Ensure benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ACA, ERISA). Oversee reporting, audits, and policy updates to maintain compliance. + Vendor & Partner Management – Work closely with insurance brokers, third-party administrators, and other partners to negotiate contracts, evaluate plan performance, and optimize costs. + Employee Communication & Education – Lead benefits education efforts, ensuring employees understand their options, enrollment processes, and available resources. Provide ongoing support for employee questions. + Enrollment Management – Oversee benefit enrollments, ensuring accurate and timely processing while troubleshooting any issues that arise. + Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyze benefits program effectiveness using employee feedback, survey data, and cost metrics. Prepare reports for leadership with insights and recommendations. + Wellness Program Management – Develop and oversee wellness initiatives focused on employee health, engagement, and productivity, including mental health, fitness, and nutrition programs. + HR Technology & Systems – Manage benefits and enrollment configurations within UKG, ensuring smooth system operations, data accuracy, and file feed integrity. Qualifications & Skills: + Expertise in Benefits Administration – Strong understanding of benefits systems, compensation structures, and regulatory compliance. + Strong Communication Skills – Ability to clearly explain complex benefits information in a way that is easy for employees to understand. + Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities – Ability to assess data, identify trends, and make strategic, data-driven decisions. + Attention to Detail – High level of accuracy in administering benefits and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. + Technical Proficiency – Experience managing benefits platforms, preferably UKG or similar HRIS systems. Education & Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. + Experience in HR and benefits administration.
