Location: Pala, CA
To assist the Benefits Manager and administer all insurance and disability income programs. To insure compliance with Pala Casino policies and procedures and government regulations and to insure benefits and disability incomes are dispensed promptly and equitably to qualifying team members.
Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High School Diploma required. College degree preferred. Must read, write, speak and understand English. Bi-lingual a plus (Spanish).Essential Job Functions:
Assist in administration of Workers’ Compensation Program to insure that the company adheres to the provisions of the law and to insure that claim eligibility is determined in an equitable and consistent manner. Assist in administration of the Medical and Dental plans. Assist in administration of the Group Insurance Program to insure that claims are processed accurately and promptly once eligibility has been established. Assist in administration of the Long-Term Disability Income Plan, insuring the initial and continued eligibility of claims and the processing of payments. Assist in administration of the Life Insurance and Supplemental Life Insurance Programs to ensure that payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner. Improve and maintain department staff morale through appraisal, counseling and recognition with company policy. Assist in reviewing data related to all insurance programs to determine what policy changes or cost-containment opportunities should be considered or recommended.
