Element has an exciting opportunity for a Benefits Specialist supporting the Americas to join our Cincinnati, Ohio (Blue Ash) Office. In this role you will oversee the benefits operations for a multi-national company supporting employees in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. You will be working in a high volume and dedicated customer-support environment.

Location: Based in Blue Ash, Ohio- hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

 

Responsibilities Drive implementation of policies and processes to ensure compliance and best practicesEnsure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility informationPerform quality checks of benefits-related data and resolve issues in an effective mannerCalculate company Paid Parental Leave (PPL) Program pay in conjunction with state specific programsOversee employee enrollment with carriers and approve life status changesMonitor and resolve, research and resolve carrier feed issuesLead Benefits Open Enrollment: system setup, testing, enrollment event, carrier managementRespond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiriesRespond to benefits data requests and perform benefit data analysisAssist in administering Element’s 401(k) plan. Work closely with payroll on the 401(k) ongoing operations.Apply knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations to U.S. benefit programsApply knowledge of Canadian and Provincial regulations to Canadian benefit programs Skills / Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in Benefits Administration, preferably with a multi-national company or a BrokerSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain a high degree of professional confidentiality and tactExceptional teamwork and collaboration skills with HR partners, benefit brokers and benefit carriers
