We are looking for a Designer with 8+ years of experience in DOT and/or municipal roadway projects. This position will support project teams and manage CAD standards using Bentley based software packages.

Responsibilities Support various project teams' utilization of Bentley engineering software from 3D modeling into design and productionCreate CAD Workspaces for Bentley OpenRoads Designer using ProjectWiseImplementing CAD standards, and familiarity of workspaces related to TxDOT and municipal clientsMentor and train CAD team partners utilizing best practices for Bentley software productsAssist in maintaining CAD standards for OpenRoads Designer and PowerGeopak usersSupport partners with troubleshootingRecommend tools to improve work efficiencyCoordinate with IT to solve project related problems Qualifications 8 years + of experience in civil engineering design production with experience working on large-scale roadway projectsExperience with setting up workspace content, troubleshooting CAD issues, and training CAD usersAssociate degree in Computer Aided Design, Engineering Technology, or similarExpertise with Bentley design programsExperience supporting and mentoring technical staffExperience with the implementation of TxDOT CAD standardsEffective communication skills
