About the role

We are seeking a Beverage Application Technologist to join our R&D Team in Grasse, where we create beverage and dairy flavors. This role involves leading and executing innovation and customer projects to develop consumer-preferred taste solutions. A passion for flavors and the beverage industry, along with a commitment to excellence, are key to succeeding in this role.

What you’ll be doing

You will oversee the beverage category, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational activities as outlined below:

Perform daily brief-related tasks, manage flavour selection, evaluation, and application development. Lead customer visits and oversee product development and presentations. Provide technical support and advice to the Technical Account Manager. Serve as the main technical contact for customers, ensuring consistency and high-quality service. Coordinate responses to customer requirements for technical documentation, projects, and trials. Manage projects by collaborating with internal departments to achieve CRM objectives. Maintain awareness of health and safety issues and adapt to meet business needs. What you can bring to the role Master’s degree in food science and technology. Experience with a beverage manufacturer/bottler. Proven project management skills to deliver results and meet timelines. Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry, ideally across various regional markets. Strong background in organic chemistry, food chemistry, and flavor applications/sensory. Fluent in French and English. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Management experience in a global/regional leadership team within a matrixed organization.
