BFO Medicare Markets Senior Advisor
The Market Business Financial Officer (BFO) will be responsible for overseeing a highly complex and regulated Medicare Advantage business which is a key pillar of our enterprise growth strategy (Public commitment on growing 10%-15% annually for the next 5yrs). The Florida BFO will manage the financial strategy of these markets which includes a broad portfolio of products and provider risk arrangements. The skill sets needed to manage this wide spectrum of responsibility will be inclusive of Agility, Influential leadership, Drive for results. This Market BFO role will oversee financial strategy, planning & analysis for Medicare Advantage. They will drive the annual bid strategy process balancing growth and profitability and will be responsible for leading the market’s financial reporting, analysis, and business support through a strong collaborative relationship. The candidate will be responsible for partnering with their respective Market Leaders and a large group of matrix partners. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Participate in development and drive execution of the Market’s multiyear growth strategy. + Partner with the Market Leaders to drive the highly complex Medicare annual bid process, appropriately balancing enterprise expectations related to growth and profitability. + Develops strong partnerships across a highly matrixed, cross functional business team to drive outcomes. + Responsible for all aspects of FP&A function of region, including financial projections, budgeting, while proactively looking for opportunities to deliver improved results. + In partnership with the Market President, establishes a multi-year financial strategy in alignment with the market’s business plan. + Manage analyst level team member **REQUIREMENTS:** + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, or other related field + 5+ years of extensive experience in Healthcare, Financial Analysis or related area + Superior financial skills with experience achieving profitable growth through management of relevant profit levers + Ability to communicate with Senior Leaders, on both technical and non-technical aspects of the business + Strategic agility, influence management and matrix management skills + Capacity to find alternatives and solutions as well as identify problems + Excellent judgment, communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities + <10% travel required If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 105,800 - 176,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
