For instant consideration. **Job Overview:** As a BGA Rework Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, removal, replacement, and repair of Ball Grid Array (BGA) components on electronic circuit boards. Your role involves using specialized tools and equipment to ensure precise rework of BGAs, adhering to industry standards and quality requirements. Attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a methodical approach are essential for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **BGA Rework:** Perform removal and replacement of BGA components using hot air rework stations, reflow ovens, or other specialized equipment. 2. **Inspection and Analysis:** Inspect circuit boards and BGAs using microscopes and other inspection tools to identify defects, solder bridges, or other issues. 3. **Component Preparation:** Prep BGA sites by cleaning, applying solder paste, aligning new components, and reflowing them onto circuit boards. 4. **Quality Assurance:** Ensure all rework meets quality standards and specifications. Conduct post-rework inspections and tests to verify functionality and reliability. 5. **Documentation:** Document all rework activities, including component serial numbers, rework process details, and any modifications made to circuit boards. 6. **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities for process improvements in BGA rework techniques and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality. **Skills and Qualifications:** · **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in BGA rework techniques, including removal, replacement, and reflow processes. · **Attention to Detail:** Ability to perform detailed inspections and ensure precision in rework tasks. · **Problem-Solving:** Capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BGA components and circuit boards. · **Communication:** Clear communication skills to coordinate with engineering teams and provide status updates on rework activities. · **Teamwork:** Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. **Education and Experience:** · High school diploma or equivalent. · Certification or training in electronics, soldering, or BGA rework preferred. · Previous experience in BGA rework or electronics manufacturing is advantageous. **Pay Details:** $23.00 to $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
