Summary:
In addition to performing the role of a BHT, the BHT Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of clients and other BHTs while on duty. BHT Supervisor ensures client and staff follow protocols, and reports issues to the Program Director / BHT Manager and others as needed.

11:00pm - 7:00am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises Behavioral Health Technicians and provides feedback on their performance. Orients and Trains new staff to unit and program. Assists with Interviewing and Hiring BHT’s. Communicates with staff either verbally or in written communication logs. Assists with employee disciplinary actions. Develops employee schedule. Conducts employee performance evaluations. Assists with interventions with clients. Assists with confiscation of items. Listens to clients and BHT’s concerning all areas of the clients’ treatment. Coordinate activities including lectures, recreation and meetings with Lead BHT’s. Follows objectives of treatment plans. Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention. Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input. Attends trainings as necessary and schedules BHT’s to attend trainings. Attends facility meetings and coordinates BHT department meetings. Clerical duties as needed. Other duties as deemed necessary.
