Role: BI MANAGER Team: Data and Reporting Package: Pension, Unlimited leave, Flexible working Location: Hybrid – Office based in London 1-2 days a week. The role: Reporting to the Director of Data and Reporting, the BI Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of BI solutions. You will also support and mentor other members of the BI team. You will work closely with teams across the business to understand their data needs and deliver insights that support business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, BI tools, and team leadership. Responsibilities include: · Oversee the development and implement of BI at Corndel. · Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models. · Develop and implement BI strategies, policies, and procedures. · Oversee the management of the Data and reporting helpdesk. · Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. · Manage the pipeline of work and reporting requests. · Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI platforms. · Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. · Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and best practices. · Train and mentor other team members on BI tools and techniques. · Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. About You: · You’re an enthusiastic self-starter – keen to help transform the way organisations develop their people · You value inclusivity, being supportive and respectful of others · You are open to change and take a collaborative approach to challenges · You strive for excellence and have high expectations of yourself and others · You operate with integrity, trust and professionalism and empower others to do so Experience and Skills: Essential: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field – or equivalent experience. · Proven experience in a BI Manager or similar role, with a strong track record of managing BI projects. · Strong experience leading the development of BI reports in the workplace. · Expertise in Power Bi and data visualisation techniques. · Well developed SQL skills, in particular writing queries and creating objects. · Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. · Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills. · Experience in the apprenticeship sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
