About the division

 

We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and​ advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy. 

 

Overview of role

 

The Mott MacDonald Transportation Unit is growing strongly and in order to achieve its growth potential, we are seeking a Bid Coordinator to work alongside the Bid Team. The role will suit a candidate who has a passion for bidding and a thirst to develop their skills. We need someone who can communicate effectively with technical teams and be comfortable assisting the rest of our team in managing a timely bid process. They will be an integral part of the WIN team.


You will need to be flexible in taking on different tasks every day and not be phased by a fast paced environment. You will take ownership for coordinating aspects of the bid process, from initial request through to final submission. You will be responsible for creating and formatting bid documents to ensure they are visually appealing and professionally presented.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

Production and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within defined timeframesCoordinate proposal input, providing assistance with technical answers, helping to develop proposals including working with the subject experts to incorporate their content into the submissionCoordinate bid-related activities and timelines, ensuring all deadlines are metEnsure proposal documents follow corporate branding guidelines, standard formatting and quality standardsEdit and proof-read submission documents to ensure accuracy and bid compliance, ensuring proposal documents follow corporate branding guidelines and formattingAssist with uploading submissions and other bid administration tasksChampion document management and version control best practicesAssist with the maintaining and continuous development of our ‘Win Site’ library and bidding toolsMonitor enquiries inbox and identify potential opportunitiesLiaise with the internal marketing team to highlight any new content which could be used in the production of project news or social media content

 

Candidate specification

 

The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, be extremely organised and have very good written English skills. The ideal contact will have previous rail experience.

Preferable (not essential):

APMP Certification is preferred but not essentialKnowledge of InDesign
