Description We are offering a contract to permanent opportunity for a Bid Coordinator role in Longwood, Florida. As a Bid Coordinator, this role is essential in managing the Bid inbox, maintaining the bid log, and supporting plan management and project coordination. It is critical in ensuring that estimators have all the required information to generate accurate bids. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee and monitor the bid email inbox, ensuring timely responses and organized handling of incoming requests. + Regularly update the bid log with key details, such as bid statuses, deadlines, and any changes. + Download and organize project plans from various sources, ensuring appropriate file naming and organization. + Store plans in the designated shared folder on the server and upload them into takeoff software for estimator use. + Provide support to project management as needed, ensuring project timelines are adhered to. + Collaborate with estimators and project managers to streamline the bidding process. + Perform data entry and administrative tasks associated with the bidding process. + Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and external stakeholders. Requirements + Recent and relevant experience in construction or project coordination preferred. + Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP is a plus) + Familiar with data entry and management. + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
