Job Summary:

Trane in Boston is hiring for a Bid Coordinator to join our team.  In this role, you will be closely interacting with customers, account managers, and the application engineering team to ensure timely delivery of project proposals. Responsibilities include managing the bid desk for the Trane New England offices and development of sales performance tracking tools.

Where is the work:

 This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

What you will do:   

Acts as the face of the business for receiving customer plan and spec bid requests as well as sending Trane proposals through the New England bid desk.Coordinates with the sales team to assign job captain and project team.Identifies strategic projects and initiates Strategic Opportunity Review (SOR).Maintains repository for plan documents and sales tools such as Trello bid board and CRM.Assists in development and implementation of new sales tools and processes.Develops sales analytics to be presented to local and regional leadership.

 

What you will bring: 

Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one (1) year related experience and/or training; or three (3) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED.Customer service experience combined with strong communication skills are critical for this role. Proven experience working within a high paced environment with attention to detail.Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.  Experience with CRM such as Salesforce a plus.Familiarity with the construction bidding process and/or the HVAC industry preferred but not required.

Compensation:   

Base Pay Range: $60,000-80,000
