PPD, the global clinical research business of Thermo Fisher Scientific, has an opening for a Bid Modeling and Analytics Project Manager. Working within our Global Finance team, this home-based US role offers outstanding opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities will include leading the strategy, analysis and development of client specific bid models for clinical trials. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our new business initiatives and help drive our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious budget development and analytics experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5+ years’ experience) Contract Research Organization (CRO) experience highly preferredIn some cases an equivalency, consisting of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient understanding of financial principles, programs, trends, and effective approachesAdvanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of dataStrong collaboration and project management skillsDemonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organizationAbility to delegate and balance work and deliver against competing demandsAbility to identify and anticipate potential problems and take proactive actionStrong understanding of business operations and ability to navigate complex organizational structuresAt Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are committed to fostering a healthy and harmonious workplace for our employees. Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.Able to work upright and stationary for typical working hours. Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology with proficiency.Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities. May require as-needed travel (0-20%).The annual salary range estimated for this position is $70,000 - $125,000 USD. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
