Bike Shop Sales Associate

Do you love hiking or biking? Are you a people person who can strike up a conversation with just about anyone? We are looking to hire Bike Shop Sales Associates for the upcoming summer season. The Bike Shop Sales Associate helps customers while they shop, answers questions about selection of rental equipment, and assists in daily store operations. In this role, you serve as a representative of the retail brand and play an essential role in the store’s overall success. Compensation Information: $19.00 per hour

Physical Requirement: Light, work activities involve handling loads of 5kg but less than 10kg; predominately in an indoor setting.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

Skills you bring with you:

Experience with retail sales and operations. Experience with bike set-up, components and part-compatibility. Strong commitment to excellent customer service (external and internal customers). Confident, self-motivated and able to maintain an outgoing, positive attitude. Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team in a fast-paced work environment. Reasonable understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word. A passion for mountain biking and the cycling community.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service to all resort guests and employees. Keep outlets clean, tidy and well merchandised at all times. Ensure outlets are well stocked and retail inventory is kept secure. Assist guests and employees with set-up of rental bikes and safety equipment. Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to according to SPRLLP guidelines and relevant regulatory bodies. Ensure all SPRLLP policies are adhered to as outlined in the current Employee handbook.
