Bilingual Accounting/Payroll Specialist
Description Kimberly Casey is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) Accounting & Payroll Specialist to join a well-established client in Jefferson, OR. The Accounting & Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth operations in both accounts payable and payroll processes (data entry). This dual-role position involves managing invoices, vendor accounts, employee timesheets, and payroll systems while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail in all assignments. You'll collaborate with vendors, employees, and internal teams to provide essential financial and administrative support. Secure required approvals before proceeding with payments. + Payment Coordination & Entry: Code and input invoices into the payment system while organizing and proposing payment schedules for approval. + Vendor Account Management: Conduct periodic reviews of vendor statements, handle vendor maintenance, and ensure accurate 1099 reporting for tax purposes. + Specialized Reporting: Manage grower/agriculture-related billing processes and fulfill client-specific requests for financial reports. + Account Maintenance: Manage the accounts payable (AP) email account and maintain the organization's equipment list. + Training & Compliance: Provide guidance and training on purchasing protocols and procedures. Payroll Functions: + Timekeeping Accuracy: Collaborate with farm supervisors and staff to ensure all employee timesheets are correctly completed and processed. + Payroll Review: Generate, verify, and oversee payroll reports to guard against inaccuracies. + Policy Facilitation: Assist employees with time off, sick leave, vacation policies, or other payroll-related forms. + Compliance Reporting: Document and submit instances of meal break violations, ensuring adherence to legal standards. + Onboarding Training: Conduct training for employees around timecard processes and ensure everyone is informed about relevant protocols.
