Provide voluntary home visiting services to increase protective factors for families and to strengthen parent-child relationship as well as supporting in enhancing the child's healthy growth and development.

 


The Fair Futures Coach provides supportive services to youth in Foster Care. The Fair Futures Coach is a highly trained professional that help young people develop and achieve their goals


Salary $52,530-$59,830

 

Responsibilities

Position Description: 

Provides ongoing social and emotional support by building trusting relationship with up to 18 youth as well as cotinuously assess for safety, addressing crises, to ensure the overall well-being of youth Provides one-on-one and group facilitation to develop life skills training, college preparation, & leadership training to youthResposnible for engaging youth in goal setting as it relates to academic, career, & housingEstablish and maintain collaborative working relationships with colleagues, & stakeholders in the community to connect youth to resourcesWork to prepare youth as they transition out of FC by assisting with supportive services in the community as well as connect youth to best fit opportunitiesWork with discharged youth up to 26yrs oldParticipate in group, individual coaching, trainings, and all staff meetings to stregthen professional development, skill growith, & group cohesionComplete timely and accurate documentation of session progress and collateral notes in CONNXs, & Care4 database systems 

Organizational expectations include: 

Regular and punctual time and attendance, and adherence to The Foundling’s and your department’s specific time and attendance policies and protocol.

Adherence to The Foundling’s employee policies, Code of Conduct and applicable rules, laws, regulations or bargaining agreements. 

Appropriate engagement with support departments to ensure appropriate and timely hiring, performance management, investigation, discipline, suspension, and restructuring decisions concerning direct reports.

Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish)

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Human/Social Service related degree (to include education, psychology and administration). 

 

Preferred Experience: 

Experience with Child Welfare 

Experience working with families 

Demonstrated strong commitment to safety.
